General questions

Q: How long have you been in operation?
A: We opened in Oslo in 2015 and have since focused on calm, individually tailored fur care and well-being.

Q: Do I need to book in advance?
A: Yes, we always recommend booking an appointment via the website or App. If you have any problems, you can call us at 90 60 91 31.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the agreed time . In case of later cancellations or no-shows, the full price will be charged.
We recommend that cancellations are confirmed by phone or SMS to ensure they have been received.

🐾 Treatment types and services

Q: What treatments do you offer?
A: We offer, among other things:

  • Wash & fluff : bath, blow-dry, scratching, ear cleaning, paw clipping and increased hygiene (from approx. 500 NOK)
  • Wash & trim : complete wellness with bath, brushing, haircut according to breed/needs (from approx. 1,200 NOK)
  • Napping/hand-stripping for stiff fur types (from approx. NOK 1,200)
  • Puppy introduction and spa add-ons , such as detox spa, tangle treatments and refreshment (from 250–350 NOK add-on).

Q: Which size categories do you have prices for?
A: Prices divided by dog's height/breed type:

  • Puppy, small, medium, large, x-large – from approx. 650 NOK to approx. 2,100 NOK, depending on package and coat.

Q: Do all packages include nail clipping and ear care?
A: Yes – nail clipping and ear care are included in all standard packages ( Duke & Duchess • Setmore ).

🐾 Spa & additional services

Q: Do you offer spa treatments?
A: Yes! We have, among other things, Detox Spa – Anti-Toxin Urban Purifying Treatment , a purifying treatment against city stress and dirt (from approx. 250 NOK)

Q: What are the additional services you offer?
A: Including: facial washing, paw treatments, tangle treatment and anal sac emptying (from approx. 150 NOK)

🐾 Products & care

Q: What products do you use?
A: We use carefully selected products from brands such as Bio-Groom, Yuup!, Bamboo Groom, Show Tech and our own Duke & Duchess range.

Q: Can I buy your products?
A: Yes – the products are sold both in the salon and in our online store, including shampoo, conditioner, pot spray, brushes and cologne.

🐾 Safety, procedures & guidelines

Q: Can I be present during the treatment?
A: Usually not, unless agreed in advance. This is for your dog's safety and our workflow.

Q: What happens if the dog shows aggression or is stressed?
A: We have a zero tolerance policy for bites – treatment will be terminated immediately. All information about past behavior must be provided at the time of booking.

Q: What about vaccines and health information?
A: We expect valid vaccination certificates according to Norwegian law. In case of illness, we can act on your behalf, and veterinary fees are covered by you.

Q: What if I am not satisfied with the result?
A: Let us know as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours – we'll do everything we can to fix it, and we take feedback seriously.

Hygiene & Safety

Q: How do I know the tools are clean?
A: All tools are disinfected after every use. Small instruments like scissors and nail clippers are UV-sterilised before touching the next dog.

Q: My dog ​​is anxious about dryers. What do you do?
A: We use quiet dryers and give each dog breaks as needed. For very sensitive dogs, we can towel-dry or air-dry instead.

Q: Can my puppy or senior dog be groomed safely?
A: Yes! We adapt the session length and equipment for age and temperament. Our "Puppy Introduction" and "Senior Calm" treatments are designed to make the experience safe and comfortable.

Q: What if my dog ​​has allergies or sensitive skin?
A: We offer hypoallergenic shampoos and can adapt products to your dog's needs. Just let us know when booking.

Q: Do you groom dogs with contagious conditions (eg, kennel cough, parasites)?
A: For the safety of all dogs, we cannot accept dogs with contagious illnesses or parasites. If we notice symptoms, we'll recommend rescheduling after veterinary clearance.
