Terms and conditions
1. General
This purchase is governed by standard terms and conditions for consumer purchases of goods over the internet. Consumer purchases over the internet are mainly regulated by the Contracts Act, the Consumer Purchases Act, the Marketing Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act and the E-commerce Act. 2. Agreement and conclusion of the agreement
The most important thing for us is that you as the buyer are satisfied with the product, information and overall experience when you visit our online store. By placing an order on duke-duchess.no, the agreement is considered approved, which means that you accept our terms of sale. The agreement is binding for both parties when the buyer has sent their order to the seller.
However, the agreement is not binding if there has been a typing or typing error in the seller's offer in the ordering solution in the online store or in the buyer's order, and the other party realized or should have realized that there was such an error.

The buyer is the consumer who places the order, and is hereinafter referred to as the buyer/customer.
4. Price
The prices stated for goods and services are the total price in NOK including VAT. Shipping costs may apply according to the shipping terms and various payment fees associated with certain payment methods. The total cost will be clearly stated in the order and contain the total cost.
5.Purchase and order
When ordering goods through our online store, you will receive a written order confirmation via SMS or email, and only when the order has been confirmed is the purchase agreement considered confirmed.
It is important that you check the information and ensure that all the information in the order confirmation matches the order that has been placed. Should any discrepancies arise, it is important that you notify us immediately.
We are constantly working to provide clear and correct content, which corresponds to the products we deliver. However, we reserve the right to make typographical errors and to not be able to deliver according to the information provided. Should a product be out of stock, Duke & Duchess may cancel the order. If this should happen, you will be notified in writing along with information about what we can offer alternatively, after which the buyer can accept or cancel the new offer.
6. Payment
We offer safe and secure payment via Vipps, Klarna, Visa and Mastercard.
The payment options you can choose from are direct payment, card payment, invoice payment and partial payment.
The seller may demand payment for the item from the time the item is shipped from the seller to the buyer. If the buyer uses a credit card for payment, the seller may reserve the purchase price on the card when ordering. The card will be charged the same day the item is shipped.
When paying by invoice, installment payment and partial payment, Klarna's payment terms apply.
When paying by invoice, the invoice will be issued upon shipment of the goods. The payment deadline is stated on the invoice and is a minimum of 14 days from the day it is received.
We do not accept purchases made by persons under the age of 18, unless this is approved and documented by a guardian.
7. Pick up in store
When purchasing products in our online store, you can always choose to pick up the item in store free of charge. When you select "Pick up in store", you will receive an SMS or email with instructions and a pickup code. You must provide identification when collecting the item(s).
The item(s) must be picked up within 14 days, otherwise the seller will be able to cancel the purchase. Uncollected packages may be charged a fee.
8. Shipping and delivery
We deliver goods to all of Norway and you can choose between several shipping methods when you place an order with us. All orders placed with us are delivered to you via Bring.
In the order confirmation email sent to you, you will find information and a tracking number, so you can easily follow your package on its way from us. A pickup notification will be sent to you when the package has arrived at your chosen delivery location.
Delivery has occurred when the buyer, or his representative, has taken over the goods.
Delivery time is normally 1-6 business days from the time the order is received and processed.
Should circumstances arise that affect the delivery time, we will inform you about this by email as soon as we are aware of the situation.
9. Examination of the goods
We always do the best we can, but sometimes mistakes occur.
When you receive the item(s), you should check as soon as possible that the item(s) correspond to your expectations and the information in the order that was placed. Should there be any defects with the item(s) or signs of damage during transport, it is important that you document this in writing, attach photos and notify us in writing at post@duke-duchess.no
10. The risk of the goods
The risk for the goods(s) passes to the buyer when he, or the buyer's representative, has received the goods. Should the buyer wish to return the goods(s), the buyer will be responsible for the product and the risk until it is returned to us.
11. Right of withdrawal and return
Unless the agreement is exempt from the right of withdrawal, the buyer may cancel the purchase of the item in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act. According to the Right of Withdrawal Act, you have 14 days to cancel from the day you received the item.
The cancellation period is considered to have been met if notification is sent before the expiry of the period. The buyer has the burden of proof that the right of cancellation has been exercised, and the notification should therefore be made in writing via email or a cancellation form.
When exercising the right of withdrawal, the goods must be returned to the seller without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date of notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal. The buyer covers the direct costs of returning the goods.
A digital cancellation form is included with your order. Please contact us if you need assistance returning your order to us.
We do not accept returns of opened packages of dog food or skin or fur care products where the seal has been broken. Exceptions are if there is a significant discrepancy or fault with the product. The item(s) must be returned with labels and original packaging.
12. Complaints
In accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive the goods. Unless otherwise agreed, the withdrawal period and the option to return and exchange the goods expire after 14 days.
Complaints must be made in writing by filling out our right of withdrawal form, where the grounds for the complaint are clearly stated, and sending this by email to post@duke-duchess.no . It is nice if this can also be documented with attached photos, that way it will be easy and less time-consuming to process the complaint.
13.Refund
Refunds are made automatically through the payment solution you used when ordering, via Vipps, Klarna or Visa.
It normally takes between 3-7 business days before the money is refunded or deducted from your invoice or account, or cancelled. When returning an item, the return amount will not be refunded, deducted from your invoice or account.
You are responsible for the products until the return is registered and received by us.

17. Conflict resolution
Complaints must be addressed to the seller within a reasonable time. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is unsuccessful, the buyer may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority for mediation.
