As a dog groomer at Duke & Duchess, you will be part of our external face, so it is expected that you welcome customers with commitment and enthusiasm, and that you are able to offer good customer service at all times. Our aim is that everyone who visits the salon should have a desire to come back.
We expect you to:
- You have at least one year's experience with basic dog grooming, breed clipping and handling the necessary tools.
- You are passionate about animals, animal welfare and dog grooming.
- You can perform basic dog grooming services in accordance with the dog owner's instructions and wishes, while showing an understanding of the salon's guidelines and procedures that ensure the well-being and safety of all animals and staff.
- Must be able to confidently handle a varied selection of dogs, including larger breeds.
- Contributes to maintaining a clean, relaxing and safe environment for the animals and the other employees in the salon.
- You appreciate the good conversation and if you do not speak Norwegian, you are expected to master English very well both orally and in writing.
- Has own tools.
Your tasks will be:
- Clipping, napping and grooming of all dog breeds.
- Pot set and claw clip.
- Other tasks that naturally belong to the profession.
